This was our first project outside the Chicago area. It was completed in several phases over more than a year. Multiple challenges were met successfully: logistical support that included providing access to Solstice Stained Glass so the stained glass panels could be removed, crating and transporting the panels to their studio for complete restoration, removing millwork and restoring it in our shop, and restoring the permanent wood elements onsite. We greatly appreciate the staff at First Presbyterian Church for working with us to accommodate the needs of an active church community, Emily Carlson of Solstice Stained Glass, and Mary Brush of Brush Architects for this unique opportunity. The windows will inspire for their next 150 years.
